Rasberry pickin, cake and makin messes!

  The boys, grandma and I had another fun day pickin berries this time it was raspberries though. Yummy! We had to walk through tall grass and weeds to get them. Conner of course was the best picker, he found the best raspberries. So after about 20 minutes pickin we had 2 pints of raspberries, they were hard to find and there wasn't alot of them. After we got home I hurried and made the cake batter and put it in the oven then after the boys nap they helped me decorate it. Carter even helped a bit.

  I was doing dishes and the boys were really quite so I went walkin around lookin for them and walked in their room, O Boy! What a mess. Conner blammed it on baby, but pretty sure I know who did most of the mess. I got some good pics, don't worry though Conner did have to clean this mess up. So hopefully next time he will think before he wants to make a mess like this.

  This little girl is from Amsterdam. Very cute and so sweet. I felt bad for her though, she didn't know any English, her mother told me this, she spoke good English. It was hard for her to go up to the kids and play. Towards the end of the day though she started to play with Conner and this other girl. They didn't say much to each other but they had fun playing! They left tonight back home. God bless her and her family!

  I put conner in swimming lessons a week ago. He did good the first 2 days. Then after that he refused to go in the water and cried and even screamed. He really disliked the water. So I tried 2 more days, but he wouldn't get in comfortably. So the lifeguard told me that its not good to force them and then they dislike water forever. So I took him out of swimming lessons. I really don't want him to be afraid of the water. So we are going to try again next year and I don't have to pay for the lessons next year, which was really nice of them. Josh was showing him how to kick at the beach the other day, so we will just have to teach him at the beach for now. He loves the beach.
