Singing is wonderful!

At school I am learning all these new things and especially new songs, I do believe I sang alot of them when I was little but have since forgotten them. So it is really fun to hear them again and sing them with the boys. This video was taken when my oldest was in school, so its just me and my youngest singing. We have been singing this song non stop since I helped at school a couple of weeks ago. Its such a sweet song. <3 

                                      

Christi Mt. at last!!

We have been saying we are going to Christi Mt. for 4 years now and yesterday we finally got there, even though it was 5 degrees outside. I was determined to go, because I know if we didn't do it this time that would be another year not going.
We went with the cub scout group and there was suppose to be 40 kids, well only about 20 were brave enough to come out. I was the only mom who was sliding and there was two dads sliding, other than that it was just the kids. It was the boys first time there for tubing and they loved it. Josh and I had not been there for tubing since high school. So it was fun to be back there acting like a kid again. Josh truly did act like a kid when it would run and jump on the tube and pretend he was a penguin sliding down a hill, what a funny guy.

Update on my dad:

Well I think these pictures speak for themselves, looks like he is having a nice time. He is now visiting other friends and will be going on a private island for his vacation time there, Sounds nice to me. :)

My baby is 5!!

The other day I told Carter he will always be my baby. He said even when I'm really old and I said, Yes, even when your really old. So cute.

He has grown up so fast, so has his brother. It seems like when they are little it goes by slow and then when they get into school they just grow like crazy.




This year Carter wanted his own party so we had a pool party. We invited kids from church. It was a fun time and we stayed in the pool for almost 3 hours.

Update on my dad-

This is the last picture he sent me. He made it to the Philippines safely.

He called today and could only talk for a minute, he told me that this trip is definitely what God wants him to be doing and he walked in the city he staying at early this morning and there were kids sleeping on the cement and hungry. He did what he could to help and preached to them. After hearing this I am sure he is where he is suppose to be and doing what he is suppose to be doing. 

Derby races!

Last weekend we went to my oldests derby race for cub scouts. It was alot of fun to watch. 

The derby cars raced for two hours, His got second place twice and then fourth the rest of the races. Each derby car got to race on each track. So his car got fourth I believe, but he won an award for fastest looking car. He was so excited about that and so was dad! They worked for quite awhile to paint it and sand it down.

Special note

My dad will be traveling to the Philippines in less than a week. Please keep him in prayer as some of his traveling there could be dangerous. He will be going with friends and will be meeting friends there. He will be preaching at churches too.
