Conners Birthday party!!!!

Our neighbors had to get Conner something for his birthday, so they came over with a worm cabin, yes you heard me right. They said they always see him digging for worms in the backyard, lol, so they had to get him a house for his worms. He loved it and the neighbors even took some time to look for worms to put in his new worm house. ahhaha

Josh did some more fish. He loves taxidermy and he is learning alot by doing fish for friends. Here is some that he just did!

   Conners Birthday party!!!!

Blogger only let me add a few pics and says if I add anymore they will charge me, so I have to figure out what to do, anyways here is just a few pics of his party for now. Joshs mom Wendy made Conners birthday cake this year. She did a great job and it was very yummy! Thanks Grandma!!
Conner and his friends eating cake and ice cream then opening gifts. David his friend from school did a good job helping him. Josh and I had him open the gift from us last, it was remote control airplane. He was sooo excited. Even though it is a little to hard for him to control he has a fun time watching it. Josh hasn't quite mastered it yet, so after opening all his gifts Josh was in the field ready to show Conner his new airplane in action. It was really cool even though Josh crashed once or twice, but all the boys loved it. So it was well worth it even if it wasn't perfect.

Weekend getaway!!

Celebrating Dr.Seuss birthday at the library!
Also Mr. Roux, who is the chief of police in RL, came to library and brought his k9 dog. Another policemen was also there who is the dogs new owner. Very cool! Conner has now decided he wants to be a cop with a k9 dog! I think thats pretty cool, then he can protect his mommy. ;)
Can you see Conner, look how excited he is. Brown and orange striped shirt.

I couldn't really get a good pic of the dog, he was very excited.

             Had to show! Cute!
Haha. We got our Guinea pig a leash! I know so funny. Our neighbors told us about it, they also think we should take it for walks with us in the summer. How funny would that be, we'll see.

                                  Some tired boys!
                Conner made this awesome house.
                Kendall and conner racing!
Carter giving mommy a big hug!!
Adam and Hayli came to visit us on Friday just before Josh and I left for the Cities. Hayli is Adams fiance, they are getting married in June. She is a very nice girl and they are very cute together. I really wish I could go to the wedding in Oregon. You never know maybe we will.

The Cities!! The start to our weekend getaway!

               Our view!!

             Beautiful!
Craziness!! We had to pay 3.50 for every bottle of water we drank in our room. And it was 5.00 in the motel store! Thankfully they had free water at the conference.
                  Our room!

Loved looking out the window at night, so pretty!

                          M&M's!

                  Going out!!
FOGO DE CHAO!!!!!!! BEST RESTAURANT EVER SO FAR! It better be for the price we paid! lol Josh was so happy he had meat coming to his plate every 2 seconds, then he had to turn his button to red to say stop. Fogo de chao was a all you can eat buffet and for meat. AWESOME!! They had lamb chops, beef, pork, more lamb and more!
I also finally tried Planatos (fried bananas) YUMMY!!

Josh had tried every meat more than 4 times. He was full until tomorrow evening! lol I had tried enough too.

The meat over the fire in Fogo de Chao!
At Rosa ? not sure the full name, sorry. Another great restaurant, we just for drinks and to talk. Behind us was a waterfall!

At the end of the night! Goodnight!

We had a great time at the marriage conference. Family life, weekend to remember is the name of this organization. I suggest anyone interested in going or not sure, you should go. Its a nice time to just get together with your spouse and learn more and review important subjects of marriage. You also get a free workbook, so everything you learn and write you can keep and look back on. They also go through discipline with your kids. I loved our speakers, Rick and Judy Taylor, there son died at age 5, he drowned. They spoke a lot about there life experiences and gave some good advice. I really felt like Judy was my grandma telling me some good advice. She was great so were the other speakers, they were comical at times, sad and full of hope that as long as God is truly the center of you marriage, you will be ok.
YOU CAN CHOOSE YOUR MARRIAGE TO BE A NIGHTMARE OR A ADVENTURE!   One of the things I really liked that she said is your husband/wife, children are a gift from God. No matter how much you can't handle something your husband does one day or how much he gets on your nerves, just remember there is a reason you married him and he is a GIFT FROM GOD. Same thing for your children, THEY ARE A GIFT FROM GOD.  This is the poem she gave all of us.

                                       To all Parents
                                       Edgar Guest

"I'll lend you for a while a child of mine," He said.

"For you to love the while he lives and mourn for when he's dead.

It may be six or seven years, or twenty-two or three,

But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?

He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief,

You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief."
"I cannot promise he will stay; since all from earth return,

But there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.

I've looked the wide world over in My search for teachers true

And from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have chosen you.

Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain,

Nor hate Me when I come to call to take him back again?"
"I fancied that I heard them say, "Dear Lord, Thy will be done!

For all the joy Thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we run.

We'll shelter him with tenderness, we'll love him while we may,

And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;

But should the angels call for him much sooner than we've planned,

We'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand!"

This is after we got back Conner built a home for the bunnies in our yard, lol.
Also my TULIPS are budding!!!!!!!!!! YAY!
I wasn't sure at first if this was a tulip, but looked it up on Google and the pics look just like this.
Are weekend was great, thanks for the prayers always!! I just pray God will continue to help our marriage and keep it strong! And others too! :)
