Some cooking, Preschool Praise time and a visit from Kaisa & Remi!!!!

 

 Hello everyone! Its been busy around here so sorry for not doing this sooner. Conner is in his 3rd week of Preschool. All is good there and today he had his first Praise time, which he was completely shy the whole time and covered his eyes and didn't sing ( which was kinda sad, but the teachers said there's been kids that ran off the stage, so at least he didn't do that). Conner started Awanas last week, which is so exciting. He loved his first night. Awanas is Wednesday night church at Maranatha, where we attend. He has to learn a new scripture verse each week and memorize his Motto, Jesus loves me, then he gets a patch to put on his lil vest each time he does this. So cool! And I'm volunteering in Nursery so I can be with Carter and they really needed the help. Which I love helping in nursery or with any of the classes there, its always fun. Como zoo and first day of Preschool!!

  We had a fun filled Labor day weekend. We spent some time at campground with family. Then went to my dads for cooked salmon he caught out in Washington with his friend and on Monday we went to Como Zoo and Mall of America. So much fun. This was the boys and I first time going there, so I had as much fun as them. lol. We loved the tropical forest and the monkeys. Conner got very excited about every animal and Carter got excited about the fish. We saw everthing there and then I left with this awesome tropical plant called, Aechema Candata. It looks very nice in my living room. :  )
      On the way to Mall of America we got really lost (Josh blammed it on me, because he was watching me take pics, craziest thing Ive ever heard, lol). So thank God my dad is a truck driver and knows his way around everywhere, I called him and in about 25 min. we got to MOA! Ya it took us a bit. By this point Josh thought it was pointless to even go and everyone was getting tired, but there was a good reason we stopped and we didnt know it until we walked around a bit. Here they were having free autographs by the new cast members of Footloose. Julianne Hough and Kenny Wormald, I didn't even know exactly who they were ( Joshs mom informed me of everything about them). But here Julianne Hough was on dancing with the stars and in a few big movies like Burlesque and Harry Potter. And Kenny was in a few music videos and some movies. Well I held a conversation with Julianne and she played with Carter for a minute. Then Kenny put his hand out to shake my hand, he didn't do that to everybody, lol, just saying. But I was star struck for awhile and then I got back into my mommy world. So that was our wonderful adventure in the cities. Pretty fun time.

   Conner started preschool Tuesday. He did great and didn't cry or anything like that. He was very calm about it. I think going to Sunday school and Library helped with getting him prepared for school. He goes twice a week.
