What he was waiting for....

Josh recently got the deer he was waiting for, a 8 point buck, a monster too. At first he thought he got a little buck then he went up close and O WOW, he couldn't believe his eyes, the buck he has been waiting 14 years ( he was 12 the last time he got a nice buck) to get this deer. He will most definitely be getting it mounted, and of course now we will have lots of meat so we just went and bought a big freezer.
We had our first Thanksgiving at our new house this year, it was a fun time. Me and Conner helped at St. Joes just before our Thanksgiving at home started to help serve Thanksgiving meals to those who needed it. A wonderful time to help serve others and Conner really liked helping and drawing place mats for the tables. I will do this with my boys every year from now on, what a great thing to do. I had a couple of people grab my hand and thank me ever so kindly before we left. It is touching to see people that thankful. :) And Im so glad Conner got to experience some of that too.
Thanksgiving lunch was a hit and I got everyone to sit at the same table this year, yay. I know it sounds silly but Joshs side of the family usually eats while watching tv during a thanksgiving meal, which is ok sometimes but on Thanksgiving at my house I really wanted to be all together at the table. Thats just how I see and like Thanksgiving or any holiday to be, its a way to talk and get to know each other better I think, just the right thing to do. Per avere la conversazione e il vino. ;)
Anyways now on to a Christmas party here in a couple a weeks again, let the cleaning begin again.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and were able to have thankful heart moments. :)

The monster 8 pt. buck!

The deer stand we went bow hunting in again. When I saw how high it was I said are you joking, but hey I climbed it.

This is what we see almost everyday outside our window. They're our new neighbors, lol.

I worked hard for this shirt. This is my "I conquered  Barron County shirt". This was for all the 3 and 5 k run/ walks I did.

I went to Farm and Fleet for 2 things today on Black firday :/, but I found one of my favorite movies and it was on sale today for 3 bucks! Yay, I was happy to get a couple good sales.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.

Sung and Shaska having fun with Conner

Sadie loved Shaska, maybe she thought that was her mom. Shaska wasn't sure what to think of her.

The old fort. Good times, my cousins and I would play Indians and Cowboys and I think they even tried locking me in there a few times, who knows they thought it was funny, little boys I tell ya. I made it through and I am happy to have those fun memories with them.

Uncle Dave made walking sticks for the boys! So nice of him.

Joe and Adam with Bear
I had to take a pic of this, it is so cute and I think the dog is so cool. This dogs name was Bear and she was the sweetest dog and had a nickname of Mamma bear, I believe. I barely remember her, but what an incredible dog. I hope Sadie turns out to be that good of a dog.

Shaska and Carter. Another amazing dog. :)

Beautiful fall in the blue hills

I thought this was so cute

The boys and I
I am so excited that we now own a dog, I have wanted this for so long and now to have one is great. Feeling blessed and thankful to God for allowing us to get her. She will grow up with my boys and they will teach her things and she will teach them things, and I guess teach Josh and I too. :)
