Our sweet pups!

Sorry I am not consistent with this blog these days, I am a busy lady with the pups, school and other around the house jobs.
So the pups are almost three weeks old, they are growing so fast. We are enjoying them as much as we can while they are here with us. I can already see the tears when we say goodbye to them. Sadie is doing great also, she is a good mom, Thankfully some of the pups are going to friends or family so we will see them often. :)

Here are some of the cute pics of the pups and all of us enjoying them.

These pics were from fishing in a new spot out in the middle of nowhere. It was very beautiful, but Josh decided to walk miles down the river with his waders and being left here for awhile alone with the boys was a bit scary, especially because there was bear tracks right next to the river, yikes!! It was fun, and we caught a couple trout too.

The gnats were bothering this boy like crazy.

I read a tree house book to the boys while they fished.

Picnic and fishing and puppies!

It was a lovely day at our usual spring fishing spot and it was a great day for fishing too. We caught over 10 fish, some crappies, some bass. It was alot of fun for the boys, they were catching fish like crazy. We had a picnic at the lake too, which was a great idea for a day.

All of us caught quite a few fish, some bass, some crappies.
Enjoying some yummy creme soda while fishing.

My girl Sadie had her first batch of pups last night, I am so proud of her!! She had a total of 10 pups, wow! They all seem healthy and momma is doing great.
I was her midwife last night, that's what I felt like. I had to cut the amniotic sac for one pup and save another that she had outside.
All turned out well, thank God!
O yes, and she did decide to have them in conners room, but she thankfully moved to her whelping box later.

Re-painting kitchen

I got another great idea to paint my kitchen! My husband wasn't so thrilled, but I really did most of the work. I painted my cupboards and drawers an almond cream color and then Josh put on little wood pieces for the trim. I got the idea from Pinterest, of course. It took me one day to paint everything, with my moms help and then Josh put on the trim the next day. It was a weekend project, thankfully it didn't take longer.
Then I got some new knobs for the cupboards and look how nice it looks. I just used the same knobs for the drawers, because I thought it actually looks fine. Now I am looking for a nice vintage white farm sink. And I will have a vintage farm kitchen.

Beautiful day to paint outside.

My finished job.

I added the curtain, I got the idea from a friends kitchen and also from one of my favorite shows, The Waltons.

Here is the sink I would like.
