Country roads

In the summer we love to find country roads and go for  a walk. A couple of weeks ago we had grandpa take us and we found a really need road with an old farm on it, which is my favorite find, old houses, barns, etc. 

So we all enjoyed a nice walk and the boys also found a stream which of course they found all sorts of cool bugs.

LOVE finding old buildings like this, all these thoughts of what happened here and the families that lived here flood my mind. Its fun to think of all their history.

We just started VBS!
This summer is flying by, wow. 

We finally made it to.....

After all the years it has been opened we finally got around to going to the outdoor theater in our area. 

It was a wonderful time with friends and a cute movie. 

So I can say that we loved it and we will be going back. :)

Tube fun!

It was his first time (my oldest) on the tube as you can tell how excited he was. He rode on there for about an hour and he still wanted to ride after that. We went camping over the fourth and this was the highlight!

StrAwBerry Picking!!

 Strawberry pickin with friends and family, always a blast.
I got three buckets full of strawberries this year and made lots of jam (more like syrup, it didn't set :(  ) and I made three jars of strawberry sauce.

A travel back to childhood memories!

We had such a wonderful day at an old friends last week. Now that the boys are older it is so fun to show them where I used to play. 

We visited my friend and her kids last week , I watched my kids enjoying the same things I use to enjoy at her house. Im so glad our kids get along and have fun together just like we used to.

This road when I was little we would walk to her grandparents house get some cookies or pie and then go pick black berries down the road. So fun.

Well today the boys pic was suppose to be in the paper and I'm a little disappointed because they asked for their names and said it would be in the paper, well we looked and it was not in the paper. So I guess I will just share it on here.
We went to our local library and their was a event called Remarkable Reptiles. Very informative and the kids got to pet this guys pet Boa at the end. The boys thought it was very cool.

FREE KITTENS!!

We have 2 female kittens left, they will be ready first week in August.

Watch out- Carter has learned to ride his bike without training wheels!!

It has been a joy to watch Carter learn to ride bike without training wheels. It took him about two days and next thing I know he was riding training wheel free. He has to ride everyday now and loves to go on bike rides through our town.

Sweet Love!

We attended a Beautiful wedding this past weekend. I really felt like I was watching a romantic movie. It was truly Amazing and the true reason it was so Amazing is because God was the center of this wedding and he is the center of their lives. 

This is what they had written on their invites: 

I don't need you, I need Christ and him alone, but I do chose you, and because of him, I have chosen perfectly. 

Isn't that Beautiful, I love that.

So there were cowboys at this wedding so the boys got to wear their cowboy boots and best jeans, they fit right in. 

This was at a private lake house, absolutely beautiful.

One of my dancing partners, I tried to get them into dancing, but it really wasn't their thing. I did at least get Josh to do a slow-romantic dance with me, yay! 

Spring babies

We have seen alot of baby animals around here lately and they are soooooo cute....

Maybe a baby Hummingbird? 

There have been plenty of Hummingbirds this spring, I love it!

And here is our Momma cat and her three kittens. It has been amazing to watch them with their momma.

Random thought:

We went to my dads the other night for a bonfire and we played Headbanz act up. FYI: It was a really fun game to play around the fire.
