Lake Michigan trip!! (WARNING- Lots of beach pictures)

This last weekend we traveled across the state to Lake Michigan, we had a lot of fun. And like Josh said, he didn't want to go home, I think we all felt that way. We really enjoy camping and sleeping under the stars.
On our trip we got to visit the beach daily, go for lots of walks exploring and went to a town near by to fish for trout and salmon. You will see all this in my pictures, enjoy!!

Setting up camp. We actually had to move twice, because of reservation issues.

First time walking to the beach

Almost there!

Here it is... the closest "ocean" we see for now.

So beautiful!

The boys found alot of bones in the sand, kinda cool.

Can you see the lighthouse?

Having fun on the beach

One last look at the beach for the night

I made him take a pic, lol.

The next day at the beach....Carter having fun

Conner having fun

So the family next to us saw this brown trout in the water and the dad caught it, after he got it he realized that this trout got hooked on the eye and that's why it was so easy to catch. Poor trout, so we held it quick.

Lighthouse from the beach

Had to show everyone that, yes, I definitely bring my oils camping with us.

Carter saying by to his sand castle for the day, lol.

Josh holding a light in his hand.

Last day on the beach :(

Beautiful lighthouse, somebody actually lives there.

Family photo quick

Bye, bye beach!

Where we went fishing everyday

We loved watching the boats come in and sometimes they would show everyone what they caught.
Coast guard boat

Josh trying to catch somethin....

The fog started coming in just before we left.

It happened so fast, I would be scared if I was on the boat while it came in.

On our way home we went by Lambeau field. Really bummed we didn't know about family night. We were wondering why people were driving by wearing all there packer clothing and hats, we just thought it was because we were in Green Bay, lol.
